The Pure Nature Familodge is a family owned and operated private game reserve in South Africa's Eastern Cape.
Our reserve is at the end of the world-famous Garden Route and is therefore the perfect safari destination to end a South Africa holiday.
The nearest airport is called Port Elizabeth, so there are also alternatives to fly to Cape Town or Johannesburg.
Our malaria-free game reserve covers 200 hectares of untouched African nature.
We offer a total of 5 accommodations.
These are optimally equipped for families with babies, toddlers and children or for befriended couples or couples. Experience the harmless wild animals here in South Africa.
These include giraffes, zebras, ostriches, various types of antelope, such as kudu, nyalas, waterbuck and impalas.
Our property borders the Addo Elephant National Park and the chances of seeing or hearing elephants, buffalo and lions are very high!
In the immediate vicinity-max. 1 hour's drive from us, there is so much to discover and experience.
This includes the Addo Elephant National Park , the incredibly beautiful beaches that are only 40 minutes away from us, adventure activities, safaris and much more. You can find a list here.
Our accommodations at the lodge
with an incredible view of the Addo Elephant National Park
Breakfast will be delivered to your accommodation.
Everything your heart desires. While you are having a coffee, the "bush" comes to life.
You enjoy this moment, look at the adjoining Addo Elephant National Park
and watch the wildlife such as zebras, elephants, buffalo and rhinos.
What a sight and that from your terrace!
At night you heard the lions "roar". You don't forget something like that!
Or you can take a closer look at our giraffes.
Perhaps you and Zaine will take you on a game walk on our property.
There is so much more to discover: zebras, warthogs, kudu, nyalas, impalas,
Bushbucks, porcupines and sooo much more.
Are you planning your day - are you going to the national park with your rental car?
Or take a game drive (safari) in one of the surrounding areas
"Private Game Reserves" instead? Is it just too hot and you want to go to the beach?
Sandboarding? Canoe tour? Quad tour? Zipline? Elephant Walk?
Giraffe walk? A whale tour? A township tour?
Or a trip to Port Elizabeth?
All of this can be done in a radius of 1 hour's drive in our area!
